At Jans Inc., we offer a wide variety of welding methods to meet the needs of your job. Our experts can weld steel, aluminum, or any other metal—even plastic.
Our welders have mastered the complex and difficult process of tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding (also called gas tungsten arc welding or GTAW, commonly used for thin sections of stainless steel and light metals such as aluminum, magnesium, or copper alloys. It takes a little longer than some other methods, but it’s well worth the wait.
We use metal inert gas (MIG) welding for most common industrial welding jobs. It provides excellent versatility and speed, and is easily adapted to robotic automation.
We handle any arc welding job, large or small.
Jans Inc. uses this process when you need something welded in the flat or horizontal-fillet position; we also do horizontal groove position welds using a special arrangement that supports the flux.
Our technicians are trained in numerous plastic welding techniques, including hot gas, freehand, plastic welding rod, speed tip, extrusion, contact, hot plate, ultrasonic, vibration or friction, spin, laser, and solvent welding.
Welding aluminum alloys can be tricky. At Jans Inc., our technicians ensure that the aluminum welds for your project are strong and lasting.
The need for cutting in the fabrication process is universal. Depending on the requirements of your job and materials being used, Jans Inc. provides expertise in a number of cutting processes, including:
Our highly trained technicians use a high-velocity, high-pressure jet of water to accurately slice complex shapes into metal or other materials.
We have plasma-cutting technology for cutting steel and other metals, or many other materials.
Jans Inc. technicians cut perfectly straight lines on flat metal stock using the shearing method.
Our expert technicians use the most up-to-date technology to create perfectly placed and executed punches in different types of metal.
Many fabrication jobs require the bending of sheet metal. Jans Inc. can meet your needs for bent sheet metal in a number of ways, ranging from small and simple jobs to large industrial jobs. Jans has the capacity to bend everything from light gauge precision sheet to 1″ plate.
Rolling is a form of forming various metals into a curved or round shapes. Jans uses rolling for projects such as making a ring or forming sheet metal into a tube or forming tubing into an arch.
